Freeway Canyon Bridges
This public work advocacy promotes a re-investment strategy and dramatic design statement that would radically alter public perception of a unique segment of the interstate in downtown Indianapolis composed of 27 bridges, two clusters of flyways and ramps, and a recessed freeway. By ammending these structures with color . art . pattern they are unified into an ENVIRONMENTALLY scaled project that has at is core motion and rhytym. Developed in coordination with the Deputy Director of Indiana, the idea was to heal and enhance the damaged urban fabric.
