New Conceptual ‘WORLD CONNECT’ Design Principles expanded the successful existing AmeriPlex development-wide application of Low Impact Development, which has emphasized wildlife friendly, water efficient native plantings and ecological storm water management, to now embrace LEED’s performance standards for new construction, new International Brand Identity, and neighborhood linked pedestrian walk trails. Rain water harvesting/cisterns, recycled redundant shipping containers as walk trail shelters, building mounted wind turbines and painted electric trunk line transmission towers mark some of the new overall physical expressions we are providing in developing sustainable design visibility.
