Portrait Photo Studio
An unrealized work that sought to transform an ordinary industrial park landscape into a private imaginative realm through the carefully considered act of procession and the use of sustainable landscape principles, including rainfall harvesting and balanced earthworks. By the nature of these manipulations, perceived as part-journey and part-landscape backdrop, we sought to influence the individuals, couples and groups who came for portraits to leave behind the ordinary world and be better prepared to collaborate in the creative act of photography. This new place would also give the owners a healthier and more inspiring environment in which to allow their individual creative process to evolve.
